The set will introduce the first Tera Pokemon ex of unusual types, including Charizard ex (Darkness), Tyranitar ex (Lightning), Eiscue ex, and Vespiquen ex. These “type-shifted” Tera Pokemon ex will use the same Energy as their usual types, but will have a different Weakness to correspond with their shifted types. For example, Charizard ex will be a Darkness card with Fire attack costs and a Grass Weakness (Darkness types are weak to Grass to represent Bug).
The set will also feature a Tera Dragonite ex (Dragon), Tera Greedent ex (Colorless), Revavroom ex, Melmetal ex, and Toedscruel ex. Like in the video games, many Tera Pokemon are still one of their original types.
Obsidian Flames will feature:
- Over 190 cards
- 15 Pokemon ex and six Tera Pokemon ex
- 12 illustration rare Pokemon
- Six special illustration rare Pokemon and Supporter cards
- 12 ultra rare full-art etched Pokemon ex and Supporter cards
- More than 15 Trainer cards
- Three hyper rare gold etched cards

It’s okay Like many others here, I miss the old version–but even ignoring its prequel, this game is frustratingly buggy on both my phone and computer; There is a special kind of rage that comes with being unable to select a key card while the turn timer is rapidly dropping- That said, it’s still a must-have for anyone wanting to learn the TCG Especially when it comes to tricky wording on some cards–you might play it wrong irl, but you can’t play it wrong online.

Good: Fun to play, easy to learn, helps new players get into the actual TCG by using pre-built decks so they can learn how to play Bad: It’s buggy, slow load screens at times, and if an opponent drops during matchmaking it bugs the game out and freezes you on the matchmaking screen while the game keeps going in the background The only way to fix that is to reload the app, and take the loss to your ranking.

I’ve used every starter deck at least 10 times and have not gotten a single win.

I’ve had to quit multiple times just to restart, and it affects win counts and ladder ranking with no bug reports or messages to show what caused the crash I love playing the game, I’ve built killer decks But the instability ruins what would be a great game.

The gameplay is amazing! It’s not pay to win which is DOUBLE AMAZING, everything in the shop you need to earn by playing the game and there are fun challenges! However the App itself is currently buggy, itll randomly crash mid-battle and theres visual glitches at times when your on the battle area which can affect the battle. So its 3/5 for me till its been fixed.
